Tundana, Pori, and Ekpangi Are Doing Just Fine
We know many of you follow the Ebola outbreak news from Ituri, so here is a bit of good news to hold onto: the three okapi at the Okapi Wildlife Reserve facilities are thriving. Tundana, Pori, and Ekpangi are doing well, thanks in no small part to the dedicated keepers who show up for them every single day.
With the ongoing insecurity and Ebola crisis in the region, our dedicated team has implemented strict safety protocols to ensure the health and wellbeing of all three animals remains protected. Their care has not wavered, and neither has our commitment to them. These three are a living reminder of exactly what we are working to protect.
